Director of Business Development
Job Description:
This position will have the responsibility of driving business development and sales for the firm, specifically in the areas of Private Equity, Private Credit, Private Debt, Real Estate, and Venture Capital. The individual that fills this role will be expected to meet sales milestones set out by management. The individual should have strong analytical and communication skills to filter, prioritize and validate potential prospect and client opportunities and prepare clear and poignant outreach. The individual should have an existing network that can be leveraged to expand the firm’s mandate and drive new business. Full-time employment with the company includes competitive salary, performance-based OTE compensation, employer paid health benefits and 401K plan.
Responsibilities:

Confidently pitch products while explaining our processes and pricing structure, frequently in the form of a demo. Leading new sales opportunities from start to close.

Identify and pursue opportunities to drive Quadrangles client base to cover the entire alternative investment industry landscape

Interact with the legal team to collaborate and problem-solve; be empowered to initiate change to further drive superior operational service improvements and product offerings

Fully understand Quadrangle’s proprietary technology platform to successfully pitch the product and help troubleshoot client issues more effectively and expeditiously, and to maximize their use of the system

Engage professionally in person, through emails and on the phone to assist prospects and clients with their needs or issues

Work independently and in a team environment to maximize productivity in an efficient manner, while maintaining correct legal and business hierarchies.

Qualifications:
-
5-10 years’ experience in a business development/sales role selling SaaS Software / Services Platforms to alternative investment firms, specifically Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Private Credit, Real Estate, Venture Capital

Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience

Strong contact network in the alternative investment community, specifically in the Private Equity space

Strong working knowledge of alternative investment service provider landscape

Familiarity with utilizing a CRM system

Working knowledge of SaaS products and solutions

Prime Brokerage Negotiator
Job Description:
We are currently seeking competent and experienced attorneys to join our legal team. The individuals in this role would be responsible for reviewing and negotiating counterparty and vendor contracts, creating reports on our platform, and assisting with client launches. The ideal candidate will have a background in the investment management industry.
Objectives of this Role:
- Assist our clients in achieving preferred terms on their contracts.
- Building trustworthy relationships with clients.
- Maintain Quadrangle’s reputation for efficacy and efficiency in our review and negotiation of contracts.
- Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings.
Daily & Weekly Responsibilities:
- Negotiate trade and finance agreements (e.g., equity prime brokerage, ISDA master agreements, master repurchase agreements, futures agreements) and vendor agreements (e.g., fund administration, OMS, IT, compliance) on behalf of investment funds.
- Complete term-by-term reports of trade, finance and vendor agreements using Quadrangle’s proprietary platform.
- Develop and maintain close relationships with clients with a view towards tailoring negotiations to address the client’s concerns and needs.
- Lead kick-off meetings between client and counterparties.
- Research issues and write articles on regulatory / industry matters on occasion.
- Assist in product/service development alongside the business team.
- Monitor the work of junior members of the legal team and interns.
Skills & Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree required
- 2-7 years experience working at financial institution or law firm
- Experience in the negotiation of trade and finance documentation. Experience in the negotiation of other types of finance, vendor and/or NDA documentation helpful.
- Experience in, or knowledge of, fund formation documentation strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Dodd Frank, Securities Act, Exchange Act and/or Investment Advisers Act strongly preferred.

Account Manager
Job Description:
At Quadrangle, our client relationships are our top priority. We’re looking for a dedicated and personable account manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers and serve as a main point of contact. The account manager’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities.

- Work effectively with the legal team to move engagements forward

Daily & Weekly Responsibilities:
- Take inquiries and requests from customers and address their needs
- Meet regularly with other members of the team to discuss progress and find new ways to improve business
- Generate progress reports to give to clients and higher-ups
- Coordinate and lead meetings between the legal team, counterparties, and clients
- Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the sales team regularly
Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Minimum GPA requirement – 3.5
- Internship or professional experience in a sales or customer service role
- Experience in the investment management industry
- Experience with customer relationship management software, such as Salesforce
- Ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously
